Symondshyde Great Wood with Simon

OK so I wasn't aware of Symondshyde Great Wood before today's run. But I am and now and no doubt will be back.

Simon led the way at he usual brisk pace. I thought we were running quicker than we actually were, however, the satellites rarely lie.

Round Redbourn

Simon ran 20 miles this morning. I managed just over 10. And I bet Simon's average speed was a fair bit higher than mine.

It was lunchtime by the time I got out. However, with a good breeze blowing it didn't feel too oppressive. The route took me down to Rebourn where I found a couple of new paths and then back up the hill to Hatching Green on yet another new path.

Happy (but lonely) days!

Brocket Hall Blast

Cracking weather. Cracking route. Who needs roads when you could do a run like this nearlt all off-road.

Got lazy/tired towards the end and did a section on the Lower Luton Rd but you don't have to.
